Meet your expert Hosts
Nearly 20 years ago we left vibrant careers in the city and chose Loreto. We created two companies, one for diving, snorkeling and Padi certifications, Dolphin Dive Baja and the other Vive Loreto Tours (now the Loreto Activity Center) where we offer different and meaningful activities for non-divers, around the area.
We are very dedicated to our community and have given back repeatedly setting an example for our children whom we have raised here. We support important local causes and for years have been involved in several youth sports programs.
As founding members of GbaL (Grupo Ballena Azul Loreto), we helped develop and introduce the passive method for whale watching to protect these incredible creatures for generations to come. We have held underwater and mammal photography exhibitions over many years, inviting local youth, schools and all visitors to learn more about the importance of living near the sea and the responsibility of taking care of it.
Since 2017, we have given disabled children and students from high school and the local university in a controlled diving experience so that they feel freedom of being underwater. Also, one day a year we give local high school and university students a day to try the experience of diving.
In 2020, we formed a group that we called Reef Cleaners Pals (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) to clean the reefs from the fishing lines. We have been doing it for 5 years now with the support of the government with a social program. Up to now we have collected more than 800 kg of fishing lines.
